Youth arrested for faking own kidnapping for ransom

RAWALPINDI: Police in Rawalpindi have arrested a youth along with his two friends for staging a drama of his kidnapping for ransom.

The father of the boy lodged a case in Nasirabad police station about kidnapping of ransom of his son Sajid. He told the police that the kidnappers of his son were demanding 10 million rupees for his release 

The police launched an investigation and on the basis of suspicion traced the boy and during investigation it transpired that he had staged a drama to mint money from his father.

The police also arrested the two friends of Sajid who were involved in staging the drama to mint money from the father of Sajid.
