ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of six Federal Constabulary (FC) personnel during an operation against militants in the Hassankhel area of Peshawar.
In his statement, the president paid tribute to the fallen personnel, calling them the true heroes of the nation who sacrificed their lives for the country’s security and peace.
He said the sacrifices of security forces and law enforcement agencies further strengthen the national resolve to eliminate terrorism.
The president also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and extended his condolences to the bereaved families, asking for strength and patience for them in this difficult time.
Reaffirming the government’s commitment, he stated that efforts to eradicate terrorism from the country will continue and the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered.
