14% Increase in Number of Pakistani Students Going to Germany

ISLAMABAD: The number of Pakistani students traveling to Germany for higher education has increased by 14 percent over the past two years, according to the Head of Consular Affairs at the German Embassy in Islamabad.

Speaking in an interview, Kai Rotsberger, Head of Consular Affairs, said Pakistani students are highly talented, pursue studies at leading German universities, and are committed to building successful careers.

He noted that the growing number of Pakistani students reflects Germany’s increasing appeal as a destination for higher education.

Rotsberger also encouraged students to learn the German language, saying many Pakistani students are developing strong language skills before moving to Germany.

He cautioned applicants against relying on education agents, emphasizing that major German universities do not process admissions through intermediaries.

He added that all visa requirements and application procedures are available on the official website of the German Embassy, advising students to use only official sources when applying for admission and visas.
