SIFC paves way for investment in Pakistan: Masood Khan

Says resolution of Kashmir and other issues imperative for peace and development.

WASHINGTON: After the formation of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, foreign investors can easily grab the opportunities for investment in Pakistan, said Ambassador to the United States Masood Khan.

Addressing a ceremony at University Club in Washington, he said the recently renewed Pakistan-US Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement was transformative.  

He said relations between the US and Pakistan were strengthening in the fields of security and non-security

He said that there was a need to resolve issues between Pakistan and India, especially the Kashmir issue, which was imperative for regional peace and development.

Ambassador Masood Khan also stressed the need for responsible nuclear stewardship from all the states to ensure security for all.
