AMMAN: Pakistan reaffirmed its support for the Palestinian cause as Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar voiced grave concern over the worsening situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly Occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank, during the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem in Amman.
Dar condemned continued violations at Al-Aqsa Mosque, the expansion of illegal Israeli settlements, settler violence, and attempts by Israel to alter the historical and legal status of the Holy Sites
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Hashemite Custodianship over the Islamic and Christian Holy Sites in Jerusalem and stressed that Israel has no sovereignty over Occupied East Jerusalem.
