ISLAMABAD: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has called for a complete strike across Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on Monday to mark Kashmir Martyrs’ Day and pay tribute to the martyrs of July 13, 1931.
In a statement issued in Srinagar, the APHC urged people to march to the Martyrs’ Graveyard at Naqshband Sahib to offer homage to those who sacrificed their lives during the historic uprising against Dogra rule.
The APHC also appealed to Kashmiris in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistan and across the world to organize rallies, seminars and other events to highlight the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people and commemorate the martyrs.
The statement said the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir continue to draw inspiration from the July 13 martyrs, describing their ongoing struggle as a reflection of courage, resilience and resistance.
