ISLAMABAD: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will lead a nine-member parliamentary delegation to New York starting on Monday, June 2.
The visit aims to present Pakistan’s position on the recent military clash with India and to counter New Delhi’s disinformation campaign at the international level.
During the visit, the delegation is expected to meet with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, President of the UN General Assembly and ambassadors of both permanent and non-permanent members of the UN Security Council. The delegation will also brief representatives of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) at the United Nations.
In addition to official meetings, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and other members of the delegation will engage with international media to communicate Pakistan’s perspective and concerns. The visit reflects Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to address regional tensions through dialogue and international engagement.
