CDF Concludes Three-Day Visit to Iran: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, along with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and a high-level delegation, has concluded a three-day official visit to Iran, according to ISPR.

During the visit, the Pakistani delegation held key meetings with Iranian leadership, including President Masoud Pezeshkian, National Assembly Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, and senior military officials.

Discussions focused on regional security, ongoing diplomatic efforts, and measures to ensure lasting peace and stability in the Middle East. The army chief emphasized the importance of dialogue, de-escalation, and resolving issues through sustained diplomacy.

Field Marshal Asim Munir also conveyed goodwill from Pakistan’s leadership and people, appreciating the hospitality extended by Iran and reaffirming Islamabad’s commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.

The visit highlights Pakistan’s continued efforts to support a negotiated settlement of regional conflicts and promote long-term peace and stability.
