Cylinder blast in house leaves three dead in Peshawar

Two persons also injured in incident at house, say Rescue 1122 officials.

PESHAWAR: At least three people, including a woman and a child, were killed when the roof of their house collapsed after a gas cylinder blast in Ejazabad locality of Gulbahar No 4 here on Friday morning.

Local people gathered at the house after hearing the noise and started rescue work. Later, they alerted Rescue 1122.
Officials of Rescue 1122 said after being informed its staff reached the spot and started rescue and relief activity and recovered the bodies of a man and woman from the rubble.
Three injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital where one of them, a child, succumbed to his injuries. Rescue 1122 said the two other injured were under treatment at the hospital.–Irshadullah Khan
