ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
During the contact, both leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and ongoing developments between the United States and Iran.
According to the Foreign Office, the two ministers exchanged views on key regional issues and expressed satisfaction over the progress being made toward rapprochement between Iran and the United States.
They termed the positive developments encouraging and expressed hope that they would contribute to lasting peace and stability in the region.
Both sides also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on future developments.
The Foreign Office stated that the conversation is part of ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at reducing tensions and promoting regional stability.
