KARACHI: The Department of Education has announced that summer holidays in Sindh will begin on June 1 and continue until July 31.
According to officials, the department stated that the holidays have been approved in accordance with the academic calendar, a decision that was finalized by the Education Department’s steering committee in February.
Earlier, Punjab Chief Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat had announced the summer holiday schedule for the province, declaring a three-month break for all educational institutions. The provincial minister said that schools and colleges across Punjab would remain closed from May 22 to August 23, including both public and private institutions.
