KARACHI: Flight operations across Pakistan have begun returning to normal after recent disruptions caused by regional tensions involving Iran, the United States and Israel.

According to airport sources, both domestic and international airlines have started preparing new flight schedules as air travel activity gradually stabilizes. The number of flights to and from Gulf countries has also increased from major airports including Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Multan, Faisalabad, and Quetta.

Airlines such as Qatar Airways, Emirates, Saudi Airlines, Kuwait Airways, and Oman Air have reportedly finalized updated flight timetables. At least 27 flights departed from Pakistan to Gulf destinations as operations resumed.

Officials said that Gulf carriers have also restarted Hajj-related flight operations, with special arrangements being made at major airports to facilitate pilgrims.

The Pakistan Airports Authority has completed preparations to ensure timely departures and arrivals of Hajj flights, along with arrangements for emergency handling, parking, and refueling.

Authorities have informed all local and foreign airlines that flights will operate on updated schedules, and all necessary operational support has been ensured.
