FO reject illegal domiciles in IOK, notifies

Illegal domiciles are against the resolutions of Security Council: FO

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office in a notification on Sunday has rejected the issuing of illegal domiciles in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) to 25 thousand employees who are Indian citizens. Illegal domiciles are against the resolutions of Security Council, it added.

According to the notification, India is conspirating to change the population’s proportion of the disputed valley. The recent move is the consistency of 5 August’s Indian illegal move to abrogate special status of IOK, the notification said.

The FO in the notification called this move a part of the Hindutva agenda of RSS and Bharatiya Jannata Party (BJP). India is trying to suppress the self-determination right of Kashmiris, it further added in the notification.

Furthermore, as per the notification, Kashmiris have rejected the bogus domicile certificates.
