ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has decided to hold consultations with its ambassadors stationed in key countries in response to escalating regional tensions, particularly involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
According to sources, a mini-conference of Pakistani envoys will be held in Islamabad over the next two days. Ambassadors posted in the Middle East and other important regions have been invited to participate.
Diplomatic representatives from countries including Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, and Jordan are expected to attend.
The conference aims to assess the evolving situation and formulate recommendations to safeguard Pakistan’s national interests. Officials say discussions will also cover Pakistan’s potential role in mediation efforts and the broader diplomatic strategy moving forward.
