MUZAFFARABAD: Residents and community representatives in Azad Kashmir have urged authorities and stakeholders to resolve ongoing issues through negotiations rather than resorting to force against the Awami action committee.

Local voices stressed that dialogue and political engagement remain the most effective way to address grievances and restore stability in the region. They warned that the use of force could further deepen tensions and negatively impact ordinary citizens, particularly the middle and lower-income groups.

Civil society members and political observers have emphasized the need for a constitutional and peaceful approach to resolving disputes, including administrative and political concerns in the region. They maintained that constructive engagement could help bridge gaps between authorities and dissenting groups while preventing further escalation.

They further noted that sustainable peace in Azad Kashmir depends on inclusive consultation, institutional responsiveness, and addressing public concerns through legal and democratic channels.

Stakeholders have called on all parties to prioritize restraint, dialogue, and reconciliation in order to ensure long-term stability in the region.
