CAIRO: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sabotaged a possible agreement that was reached between negotiators on release of six hostages from the captivity of Hamas.

According to a report published in an Israeli newspaper, an agreement was agreed between Israeli and Hamas negotiators conducted through USA, Qatar and Egypt on the release of Israeli hostages and ceasefire in Gaza. At the eleventh hour, the Israeli prime minister came up with a new condition of holding control on the crossing on the border of Gaza and Egypt.

Under the agreement, the release of six Israeli hostages had been agreed upon, but after the failure of the talks three of the six hostages were found dead.

The news of the recovery of the dead bodies of the total six hostages from Gaza led to mass protests across Israel putting pressure on the prime minister.

Israel launched the war in Gaza in October last year and so far has killed over 40000 Palestinians besides displacing all the over 22 million population of the strip.

Repeated demands, protests and a ruling by International Court of Justice have failed to force the Zionist state to stop the killings.
