Pak deny American accusations of providing safe havens to terrorists: Ayesha Farooqi

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan foreign affairs spokeperson Ayesha Farooqi on Thursday once again has denied American foreign affairs’ accusations of providing safe havens to terrorists, while said Pakistan will never allow any group or organization to use its soil against any other country.

She marked the development miserable and said “allegations in this report made Pakistan’s efforts against terrorism disputed” while expressing her views on countering the American counterpart accusations in their report.

Ayesha said it is mentioned in the report that Al-Qaida had faced failure in the region but they ignored the efforts made by Pakistan regarding it. Besides that in Pakistan the declinning in the terrorism cases is the proof that Pakistan made indiscriminatory efforts against terrorists.

Farooqi said Pakistan is well awared of its responsibilities as a sovereign state. Pakistan also faced threats by foreign funded groups such as proscribed groups Tehreek e Taliban, and Daish (ISIS), while the American report has not mentioned details about this that where from hadhabeing being operated these groups? Ayesha asked.

Furthermore, she said the recent legal moves Pakistan made against proscribed groups have not mentioned in the report.

Similarly, the report has not completely comprehended by Pakistan’s efforts in Afghan Peace process.
