PPP Forms 10-Member Parliamentary Board for GB Elections

GILGIT: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has formed a 10-member parliamentary board for the upcoming General Elections 2026 in Gilgit-Baltistan, aimed at finalizing party tickets for prospective candidates.

According to details, the parliamentary board has been constituted to review applications and decide nominations for party tickets ahead of the elections.

The board includes senior party leaders such as Faryal Talpur, Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, Qamar Zaman Kaira, and Nadeem Afzal Chan.

Other members of the board include Engineer Muhammad Ismail, Imran Nadeem, Jamil Ahmed, Bashir Ahmed, and Advocate Amjad Hussain Azar.

Party sources said the board will play a key role in evaluating candidates and ensuring transparent selection of ticket holders for the electoral contest in Gilgit-Baltistan.
