MASTUNG: Scores of people blocked the Quetta-Karachi highway at Mastung for the second day on Tuesday demanding the recovery of their four relatives.
The protesters included women and children. They said they would continue the protest till recovery of their missing loved ones. The protesters have staged a sit-in on the highway at Shamsabad crossing. As a result, hundreds of vehicles remained stranded. The stranded passengers said that they were in trouble as hotels in the area were still not reopened after Eid holidays.
Administration and police officials held talks with the participants of the sit-in but it ended without any results and the protesters vowed to continue the blockade of the road.
