ISLAMABAD: The second phase of Pakistan’s Hajj operation will begin on May 31, marking the start of the return journey for thousands of pilgrims from Saudi Arabia.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, the first flight will depart from Jeddah late on May 31 and is scheduled to land in Sialkot, carrying 391 pilgrims back home.
Officials said multiple flights have been scheduled on the first day of the operation, with 22 flights planned for June 1 alone, bringing back over 5,200 pilgrims to various cities across Pakistan, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Quetta.
Overall, around 471 flights will operate during the Hajj return phase, bringing back approximately 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims.
The return operation will continue through June, with Madinah departures starting from June 3. The final flight is expected to land in Lahore on June 30, marking the completion of the Hajj operation.
Authorities have stated that all arrangements have been finalized to ensure a smooth and comfortable return for the pilgrims.
