Zafar Masood new president of PBA

Seat fell vacant after Aurangzeb Khan took oath as finance minister, says association.

LAHORE: Pakistan Banks Association has named its new president after departure of Aurangzeb Khan who took oath as the finance minister recently.

The Association in a statement on Wednesday said that Bank of Punjab President Zafar Masood has been chosen as the new president of the association.

Mr Masood was elected unanimously as the president of the association at a meeting of the executive committee. He was earlier working as the senior vice president of the association.

Meanwhile, president of Faisal Bank Yousuf Hussain was elected ad the senior vice president of the association in place of Mr Zafar Masood.

It may be mentioned here that Mr Masood has vast experience in the banking sector.
