KOT ADDU (PUNJAB): At least 11 people were killed and 10 others injured in a collision between a truck and a passenger van in Kot Addu city of Punjab, Rescue 1122 and police said.
The accident occurred at Chowk Sarwar on Mianwali road when the truck collided head-on with the passenger van.
As a result, 11 passengers of the van lost their lives while 10 others were injured, some of them seriously.
The dead included three women and three children. The dead bodies and injured have been shifted to the THQ hospital.
Rescue 1122 said the van was taking the passengers to Bhakkar from Multan. The passengers were going to meet their relatives in Bhakkar.
