Eight terrorists killed in DI Khan, says ISPR

Killed terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and civilians.

RAWALPINDI: The media wing of the military here on Saturday said that security forces killed eight trattorists in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakthunkhwa.

In a statement, the ISPR said that an intelligence-based operation was conducted on the hideout of the terrorists. When the security forces reached the area, the terrorists opened fire. During the exchange of intense fire, the security forces killed eight trattorists.

It said the killed terrorists were involved in attacks on security forces and civilians in different parts of the Khyber Pakthunkhwa province.

Despite repeated operations by security forces, trattorists continue to carry out their activities in different parts of Khyber Pakthunkhwa and Balochistan provinces.

The ISPR statement said that the military was determined to continue its fight till the elimination of terrorists and their facilitators in the country.
