71 Deaths from Measles Reported Across Pakistan
KARACHI: A total of 71 deaths due to measles have been reported across Pakistan so far this year, according to sources from the Ministry of Health.
Officials stated that over 16,000 suspected cases of measles have been recorded nationwide, out of which around 4,000 cases have been laboratory-confirmed.
The data further reveals that Sindh province has been the most affected, with 40 deaths reported there alone.
In Sindh, more than 4,000 suspected cases have been identified, and over 1,100 cases have been confirmed through laboratory testing.
Health authorities continue to monitor the situation as measles cases rise across the country.
