LAHORE: At least 10 people were killed and three others injured after the roof of a house collapsed near Sukh Nehar in Lahore’s Baghbanpura area.
Rescue officials said the victims were trapped under the debris following the collapse. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while rescue teams continued removing the rubble.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed grief over the loss of lives and directed authorities to ensure the best possible treatment for the injured.
Meanwhile, in Faisalabad, two children were killed and two people injured after a house roof collapsed during rainfall.
