KP Govt Ready to Hand Over Imran Khan Stadium to PCB

PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is preparing to hand over Peshawar’s Imran Khan Cricket Stadium to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Sources said talks between the provincial government and PCB are underway, with two rounds of negotiations already held to finalize the terms of a possible agreement.

The KP government is also reviewing agreements between the PCB and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and National Stadium. Provincial Adviser for Sports Taj Muhammad Tarand said the government wants to restore international cricket in the province.

However, he clarified that no final decision has yet been made to hand over the stadium to the PCB.
