KABUL: The minister for refugees in the Afghan Interim government and a senior leader of the Haqani group Khalilur Rehman Haqani and scores of other people were killed in a bomb blast on Wednesday.
The bomb blast was reported in the ministry for refugees in central Kabul, a spokesperson for the government confirmed.
Khalilur Rehman was uncle of the Afghan interior minister Sirajuddin Haqani and brother of the founder of Haqani network Jalaluddin Haqani.
