Afghan team lifts Chitral Football League title

CHITRAL: Pakistan’s most popular football competition, Chitral Football League, concluded in Chitral with Afghan TV clinching the title by beating Bacha Khan FC Loralai Balochistan by 2:4.

With the backing of Chitral Scouts and support of the district administration Chitral, the Ideal Club and Acciva Services football club annually arrange this popular national event.

This was the 4th season of Chitral Football league with the tag name of Pakistan Zindabad Chitral Football League, participated by 13 teams and more than 300 players from different areas of Pakistan including Balochistan, Azad Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan.
The final match was played between Afghan TV football team and Bacha Khan FC Loralai Balochistan which resulted in the victory of Afghan TV by 2 to 4 goals. Hamad Mashwani of Afghan TV was declared man of the match as he scored two goals.
Deputy Commissioner Chitral Muhsin Iqbal and Commanding Officer 146 Chitral Scouts Lt. Col. Waqas Ahmed were chief guest and distributed trophies and prizes among the players.
