Dar Asks Foreign Office to Ensure Effective Diplomatic Engagements

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has directed officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure comprehensive, effective and timely preparations for all diplomatic engagements.

The directive was issued during a high-level meeting chaired by Dar to review upcoming diplomatic activities. The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, participants discussed forthcoming diplomatic interactions in detail and reviewed preparations related to these engagements.

Ishaq Dar emphasized the importance of coordination among various institutions and continuous follow-up, stating that these elements are essential for achieving diplomatic success.

He further noted that Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts are primarily aimed at safeguarding and promoting national political and economic interests.

The meeting also highlighted the need for a coordinated strategy and proactive diplomatic measures to effectively advance national objectives.
