ISLAMABAD: The Federal Constitutional Court will also remain closed on Thursday (today) due to security-related restrictions in the Red Zone.
According to an additional registrar, the decision was taken after access limitations in the Red Zone, and an official notification has been issued in this regard. The court’s cause list for the day has also been cancelled.
However, all branch registries of the Federal Constitutional Court will continue to operate as usual.
The notification further stated that the decision to keep the court closed was made in view of the difficulties faced by lawyers and litigants.
Authorities have not announced when normal court operations in the main premises will resume.
