Five Chinese killed in suicide attack in Besham
China asks government of Pakistan to arrest culprits and punish them.
ISLAMABAD: Five Chinese nationals and one Pakistani lost their lives when a suicide attacker targeted their convoy in Bisham tehsil of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla district.
The local police confirmed that four Chinese men and one woman died in the attack along with a Pakistani man. They said the suicide attacker rammed an explosive-laden car into the vehicle of the Chinese nationals.
In Islamabad, China’s embassy asked the government to arrest the culprits and bring them to justice.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif visited the Chinese embassy and met the ambassador and expressed grief over the incident. He assured the Chinese ambassador that all those behind the dastardly attack would be brought to justice.
