ICC team inspects facilities for Champions Trophy 2025

PCB chairman tells delegation that Pakistan will upgrade three venues well on time.

LAHORE: Pakistan will be hosting the mega cricketing event, Champions Trophy 2025, and has started putting in place all the arrangements for it.

In this regard, a delegation from the International Cricket Council has also arrived to examine facilities and discuss further steps to be taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board and the government.

The ICC team led by Chris Tetley, the head of events, is inspecting venues and facilities in different cities. The delegation for the ICC met PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi.

Speaking on the occasion, the chairman PCB that hosting an ICC mega tournament is a welcome development not just for PCB but also for cricket fans across Pakistan.

He said that PCB will upgrade the three major venues in the country well on time before the start of the event. The three venues are Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi.

The delegation members expressed their satisfaction over the resolve of the board and the government to hold the event in a befitting manner.
