Imran Shifted from Adiala Jail to PIMS for Eye Treatment Again
RAWALPINDI: Former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan was shifted from Adiala Jail to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical treatment.
According to reports, he was moved to the hospital for an eye procedure, where he received his fourth intravitreal injection on April 28.
Before the procedure, an eye specialist declared him medically stable, while Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) results also indicated signs of improvement.
Hospital officials stated that the injection was administered under microscopic guidance following all necessary medical protocols. The procedure was successfully completed as a day-care surgery.
During treatment, Imran Khan remained stable, with his vital signs reported to be normal before, during, and after the procedure.
He was later discharged with medical advice and a follow-up plan.
