ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Tablighi center in Islamabad to review security and administrative arrangements for the ongoing three-day Tablighi congregation.
The religious gathering is expected to attract around 250,000 participants from مختلف parts of the country.
During his visit to Jamia Abul Qasim Tablighi Markaz, the minister was received by senior religious figures, including Yousaf Qureshi, Abdul Rehman Qureshi, and Dr. Saleem.
Mohsin Naqvi thanked the organizers for postponing the event during earlier consultations and praised their constructive role. He stated that their efforts in promoting religious harmony and national unity are commendable.
The interior minister was briefed on the comprehensive security and traffic plan devised to facilitate participants and ensure smooth conduct of the event. He emphasized that all necessary measures have been taken to prevent any inconvenience.
He also announced that the organizers would be invited to deliver a special lecture at Police Lines.
A special prayer was offered on the occasion for peace, stability, and development in the country.
Senior officials, including the Inspector General of Police Islamabad, Deputy Commissioner, and other administrative officers, were also present.
According to the Chief Commissioner, the congregation will conclude on Sunday morning with a collective prayer.
