ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) leader Senator Mushtaq Ahmed has come down hard on the Muslim countries for their inaction and callous attitude towards the issue of Palestine where Israel has continued bombing and killing innocent civilians, including children and women.
After the recent OIC summit called by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Senator Mushtaq said the summit proved that the Muslims countries were waiting for the fall of Gaza.

In a post on social networking platform of X, he said that it was unfortunate that the OIC summit ended without practical steps for saving Gaza and taking action against Israeli aggression.
He said there were suggestions put forth by different countries such as Iran, Turkiye, but none from the only atomic Islamic country, Pakistan.
Moreover, he said, the caretaker prime minister of Pakistan neither addressed any pro-Palestine rally nor even held a press conference to raise voice for the people of Gaza mercilessly being bombed and killed.
meanwhile, the second hospital in Gaza was on Sunday also closed due to unavailability of fuel. The Red Crescent Society said that after Al-Shifa hospital, the administration of Al-Quds hospital had to shut down the facility due to unavailability fuel.
On the other hand, the Israeli forces continued bombing other hospitals and killed 13 people in an attack on Khan Yunus hospital of Gaza. Moreover, the Israeli forces were assembling in other hospitals of the besieged and blocked enclave.
