PTA suspend PUBG temporarily

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has temporarily suspended PlayerUnknown’s Battlefield Game (PUBG) on Wednesday in the view of complaints recieved from different segments of society, that the game is addictive, wastage of time, and negative impact of physical and psychological health.

According to a PTA’s press release, the decision has been taken due to suicide cases recently reported in media and as per the Lahore High Court (LHC) directions.

The case will be hear in this regard on 9 July to decide the permanent fate of the online game.
