Ombudsman Takes Notice of Complaints Against PIMS
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ombudsman has taken notice of public complaints against Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, a major public sector hospital in Islamabad.
According to sources, a special inspection team has been formed and is scheduled to visit the hospital. The team includes Senior Advisor Rana Seerat, Advisor Major General (Retired) Haroon Sikandar Pasha, and Consultant Pervez Haleem.
The inspection team will conduct a detailed review of the hospital’s facilities, administrative affairs, and the nature of public complaints. It will also meet hospital management and directly hear concerns from patients.
In addition, the team will assess the implementation status of recommendations made during previous visits.
Following the inspection, the team will submit a report containing its findings and recommendations to the Federal Ombudsman, which will guide further action.
