WASHINGTON: US Vice President JD Vance has claimed that the United States has destroyed Iran’s nuclear programme, while also saying that Washington has significantly weakened Tehran’s unconventional military capabilities.
Speaking about the latest developments involving Iran, JD Vance claimed that the US had succeeded in destroying Iran’s nuclear programme. He also said that Iran had assured the United States that it would not impose or collect tolls in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to the US Vice President, the American government is also working to increase oil and gas production in the Middle East as part of its efforts to strengthen energy supplies.
JD Vance further claimed that the United States had severely reduced Iran’s unconventional military capabilities.
