Taliban Hideouts Targeted in Kandahar and Kabul

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has conducted precision strikes on Afghan Taliban and Kharijite (extremist) hideouts in Kandahar and Kabul, according to security sources.

Officials stated that all targets were carefully chosen to avoid civilian areas, and the strikes were carried out successfully. In Kabul, the operation focused on the central command and leadership of the Kharijite network.

In Kandahar, Pakistani forces targeted Taliban Battalion Headquarters Nos. 4 and 8, as well as Border Brigade No. 5.

These strikes mark a significant escalation in Pakistan’s response to cross-border threats amid heightened tensions along the Pak–Afghan frontier.
