DUBAI: The way has been paved for hosting of the Champion Trophy 2025 in Pakistan as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCC) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) signed an agreement on the hosting right in Dubai on Friday.
At the beginning of the ongoing cycle, the ICC had handed over the hosting of the 2025 Champions Trophy to Pakistan and today’s agreement has rectified it.
A spokesman for the PCB said that they have started preparations for holding the mega cricketing events and a few days ago at a meeting updated the government on it. He said that the caretaker prime minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar assured the PCB of the government’s full support.
