Pakistan Showcases Textile Strength at Texworld New York City 2026

NEW YORK: Pakistan launched its national pavilion at Texworld New York City 2026, reinforcing its commitment to expanding textile exports and strengthening trade ties with the United States.

The Pakistan Pavilion, inaugurated at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, highlights the country’s capabilities in value-added textiles, apparel, leather goods, sports products, and home textiles. The initiative aims to connect Pakistani manufacturers with international buyers and boost exports in one of North America’s leading textile sourcing exhibitions.

The pavilion was inaugurated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, alongside Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai and Trade & Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan.

Organized by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in collaboration with the Trade & Investment Wing of the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York, the exhibition underscores Pakistan’s growing presence in the global textile market.

Pakistan Promotes Export Growth

Addressing participants, Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh described the textile sector as a cornerstone of Pakistan’s economy. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to boosting exports and expanding commercial cooperation with the United States.

Consul General Aamer Ahmed Atozai said Pakistan has earned recognition as a dependable sourcing destination for quality textile products. He also pledged the Consulate’s continued support in building stronger business partnerships between Pakistani exporters and U.S. buyers.

Trade & Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan said Texworld provides an important platform for Pakistani companies to reach international buyers and increase their footprint in the U.S. market.

Five Pakistani Companies Exhibit Products

Five leading Pakistani companies are exhibiting under the Pakistan Pavilion. They are showcasing home textiles, towels, apparel, leather garments, sportswear, gloves, and other textile products.

The participating companies are:

  • A1 Infinity
  • MRI Group
  • Hometex Corporation
  • Ruqi Sports
  • Niza Sports

Pakistan inaugurated its national pavilion at Texworld New York City 2026, showcasing textile exports and strengthening trade ties with the United States. Five leading Pakistani companies are participating in the three-day exhibition.

Throughout the three-day exhibition, exhibitors will meet buyers and industry stakeholders from across the United States and other international markets. The meetings are expected to create new business opportunities and strengthen Pakistan’s export presence.

Texworld New York City 2026 runs from July 29 to July 31 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Pakistan’s participation reflects its continued strategy to expand global market access, promote manufacturing excellence, and build long-term commercial partnerships.
