ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has terminated the services of a senior official holding a director-level position following allegations of harassment, a spokesperson confirmed.
According to the PFF spokesperson, the action was taken after a complaint was lodged by a female referee against the official.
PFF Chief Operating Officer Shahid Niaz Khokhar stated that the federation maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and such behaviour will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
He added that the decision to dismiss the official was taken after a formal inquiry conducted in accordance with FIFA and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) guidelines.
The federation reiterated its commitment to ensuring a safe and respectful working environment within the organization and upholding international standards of conduct.
