ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Adel Al-Jubeir, during which they held detailed discussions on the overall regional security situation, particularly the tension between Pakistan and India.
According to sources, the two also discussed matters of mutual interest, economic cooperation, and ways to further strengthen bilateral relations.
Prior to the meeting, Adel Al-Jubeir arrived in Islamabad, where he was received by the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It is noteworthy that Adel Al-Jubeir arrived in Islamabad after completing a visit to New Delhi, reflecting Saudi Arabia’s commitment to balanced diplomacy in South Asia.
