Pre-Shandur festival polo tournament concludes

Chitral Scouts defeats Chitral A by single goal at Chitral polo ground.

CHITRAL: Chital Scouts emerged victorious in the Chitral District Polo Tournament, defeating Chitral (A) by a single goal in the final match played at the polo ground here.

Best performing players in the tournament are selected for the annual Shandur polo festival to be held from June 28 to 30.

A large number of crowd witnessed the thrilling competition, which saw Chital Scouts score Three goals to Chitral A’s two.

Chital Scouts’ captain, Israr Wali, was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance, while Muhammad ilyas of Chitral (A) also showcased impressive gameplay.

The guest of honor, renowned businessman Anwar Aman, presented awards and trophies to both the teams.

The tournament saw participation from over 40 teams from across Chitral, making it a highly competitive and prestigious event.

The best players from the tournament will be selected to represent the district in the Shandur Tournament.

The win marks a significant achievement for Chital Scouts, who demonstrated their skill and dedication to the sport. The team’s victory was met with cheers and applause from the crowd, and they were congratulated by the guest of honor and other dignitaries.
