JEDDAH: Consul General of Pakistan in Jeddah Khalid Majeed has said Saudi authorities have assured that the airports in the provincial capitals in Pakistan would also benefit from the Route to Makkah initiatives currently available in Islamabad only.
In an interview with APP, he said this year total of 30,000 Pakistani pilgrims have already benefited from the Route to Makkah initiative.
During the inaugural direct flight to Makkah, he said the Pakistani hajj pilgrims received clearance in a remarkably short time of only thirty minutes.
