LONDON: An activist of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been arrested by Scotland Yard in London for threatening Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and his elder brother, PML-N chief and ex-premier Nawaz Sharif.
Scotland Yard confirmed the arrest of Gulfam Hussain Kiani and said the suspect had threatened to kill the Sharif brothers on TikTok. He had also threatened to destroy Avenfield apartments.

Scotland Yard had issued a warrant for Gulfam four days ago after PML-N leader Khurram Butt lodged a complaint and gave videos of the suspect to the British police.

Butt said that the police had confirmed to him that the arrest was made on his complaint. He said the suspect was arrested when he was kicking at the gate of the Avenfield apartments.
