GILGIT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa President Junaid Akbar Khan was expelled from Gilgit-Baltistan on the direction of the caretaker government.

Sources further claimed that several lawmakers, including National Assembly members Saleem-ur-Rehman, Syed Mehboob Shah, Dr. Amjad Ali Khan, and MPA Naeem Khan, were also directed to leave the region.

Addressing party workers on the occasion, Junaid Akbar Khan said they were leaving the area “to help maintain peace and order,” adding that they would return if leaders of other political parties launched campaigns in the region.

He further stated that even if law enforcement from across Gilgit-Baltistan was deployed, they would not step back from their political stance.
