Pakistani film industry’s renowned actress Reema Khan recently shared her views on the ongoing controversies surrounding actresses Meera and Resham, as well as the media’s behavior towards artists, in a recent interview.
Speaking on a program, Reema Khan mentioned that hosts and podcasters in Pakistan often adopt inappropriate behavior with artists, asking them questions related to their personal lives.
She emphasized that rather than evaluating artists based on their work and talent, the focus is frequently shifted to their private lives, which can negatively affect both the guests and the reputation of the hosts.
Expressing regret over questions posed about actress Meera, Reema stated that such behavior is damaging to the showbiz industry. Talking about actress Resham, Reema Khan praised her for her eloquent way of speaking and conveyed her best wishes for Resham’s life.
Reema advised Resham to analyze situations for herself and not to blindly believe what others say, encouraging her not to be influenced by hearsay.
During the interview, Reema Khan stressed that respecting artists and appreciating their work is a societal responsibility, and unnecessary personal questions should be avoided.
