ISLAMABAD: In an effort to facilitate pilgrims arriving for Hajj 1447 AH, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has distributed over 194,000 educational and religious publications at Taif International Airport and key Miqat points.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the distribution campaign was conducted by the ministry’s Makkah Region branch along with the Department of Mosques, Dawah and Guidance in Taif from 9th Dhul-Qadah to 6th Dhul-Hijjah.
The ministry provided 45,405 publications at Taif International Airport, while 149,275 copies were distributed at Miqat Qarn Al-Manazil and Miqat Wadi Muharram.
The initiative is aimed at enhancing pilgrims’ awareness of Hajj rituals and helping them perform their religious obligations correctly and smoothly upon arrival in the Kingdom.
The distributed materials included religious books and guidance manuals such as *Hisn Al-Muslim*, *Al-Tahqiq wal-Idah*, supplications from the Quran and Sunnah, easy-to-understand Hajj and Umrah guides, and other instructional publications for pilgrims.
To accommodate pilgrims from different nationalities, the ministry prepared the materials in multiple languages including Arabic, Urdu, Pashto, English, Indonesian, Turkish and Russian.–APP
