KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained a positive trend during the trading week, with investor confidence remaining strong.
The KSE-100 Index gained 5,072 points, rising around 3% over the week to close at 176,094 points.
During the week, the index reached a high of 179,123 points, while its lowest level was recorded at 174,612 points.
Trading activity remained robust, with shares worth approximately Rs158 billion changing hands. A total of around 4.15 billion shares were traded during the week.
Meanwhile, the market’s total capitalization increased by Rs477 billion, reaching approximately Rs19.755 trillion.
The weekly gains reflect continued positive sentiment among investors despite ongoing economic and market challenges.
